Founded in 2003, Mariposa Wine Collection is a portfolio of handcrafted artisan style wines that embrace the incredible diversity of California's premium viticultural areas. The CrU, Carmichael and Yosemite View brands each feature only the varietals that thrive in their respective regions; each label with its own unique character and focus.
Owner Richard Spencer has had a keen interest in fine wines for many years, a pastime cultivated with long-time family friend and partner Michael Conway. For these two entrepreneurs, the dream of owning a winery is now a welcome reality.

Based in Madera, California winemaking at Mariposa Wine Collection is overseen by Winemaker Ken Post.  Centrally located in order to source from appellations ranging from Santa Barbara to Napa Valley, MWC strives to deliver quality and value at its respective price points.

Mariposa Wine Collection's portfolio of award winning wines embraces the rich diversity of California's premier viticultural areas. Sourcing grapes from the Mountains to the Sea, Mariposa produces three signature brands - CRU - elegant cool climate Chardonnays and Pinot Noir, Carmichael - unique Euro-style blends from Monterey County and Yosemite View - classic value driven varietals, each brand delivering the best wines from their respective regions.
