Madera Winemaker Education Series – “Harvest Reds”
Sponsored by Tesoro Viejo, the Madera Winemaker Education Series is your chance to learn all about the art of winemaking from the winemakers themselves. Our September 2 class, “Harvest Reds,” features the winemakers of Birdstone Winery, Idle Hour Winery, Mariposa Wine Collection and San Joaquin Wine Company.

“Celebrate Agriculture with the Arts” Opening Reception
The Madera Arts Council’s annual art exhibition, “Celebrate Agriculture with the Arts,” opens September 16 at Circle Gallery (1653 North Schnoor, Suite 113, in Madera) with a reception and awards ceremony. Dedicated to promoting a broader interest in and understanding of agriculture, “Celebrate Agriculture with the Arts” will award artists in the areas of citrus, dairy, farm machinery and structures, fruits and nuts, irrigation, livestock, poultry, vegetables and vines.
